Internet Explorer for the Mac is no longer available (since 2006) nor is there any ongoing support for existing versions (up to Ver: 5.2.3 ) from Microsoft . All Internet downloads sites for IE5 (Mac) are now closed.
IE5 Mac is sufficiently ancient to cause all manner of compatibility problems with web sites and we have no intention of reducing this site to the ‘lowest common denominator’.
It is VERY much in your interests to switch to Apple’s Safari -(supplied with the system software) with ongoing updates - OR, download a copy of Mozilla’s Firefox 2 (its free)
Retain IE5 on your machine for those web-sites that need it - e.g. sites like Amazon where the selling & payment forms seem to ONLY work with Internet Explorer!
We are including these few basic text pages to accommodate IE 5 (or earlier) users in order to supply relevant information about us.
